Ms. Ren worked as a journalist and editor since late 1970’s for China Youth Daily, China Law Magzine, and Beijing Legal Times. From 2004 to 2009, she worked as the general counsel of Sunrider (China) Co. Ltd., Beijing Sunworld Dynasty Hotel & Beijing Sunworld Hotel. Ms. Ren joined Beijing East IP in 2010. Ms. Ren is experienced in trademark disputes, trademark infringement lawsuits, unfair competition lawsuits, administrative complaints, administrative lawsuits, and other complicated IP cases such as copyright cases and patent cases. Ms. Ren is an acting Council Member of the China Intellectual Property Law Society, a Council Member of WTO Law Board of China Law Society, and a member ofthe China Law Society.

Mr. Li graduated from Tsinghua University with a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Before joining Beijing East IP in 2004, Mr. Li acted as the Chief Examiner of the Third Division of the Mechanical Examination Department at the Chinese Patent Office from 1980 to 1991. From 1991 to 1996, Mr. Li subsequently acted as the Vice President and President of Patent Literature Publishing House (now re-named as Intellectual Property Publishing House). Mr. Li now focuses on training of patent attorneys. Mr. Li has accumulated a wealth of experience in patent prosecution in automobile industry, paper making and printing devices, lighting devices, and combustion devices.
