Dr. Lulin GAO, Chairman of Beijing East IP Ltd., met Mr. Aso, senior consultant of Fukuoka Institute of Technology on Sep 27, 2018.

Mr. Aso served as Director of the Japan Patent Office from 1992 to 1994. Dr. Lulin GAO visited Japan at that time as Commissioner of the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO), and enjoyed sincere welcome and warm hospitality from Mr. Aso. Dr. Lulin GAO and Mr. Aso, as high leaders in intellectual property community of China and Japan respectively, conducted in-depth and sincere exchanges.

This meeting was the first reunion after more than 20 years. Dr. Lulin GAO and Mr. Aso recalled friendly exchange before, discussed China and Japan business, the newest technical development trends, intellectual property and other issues. The talk proceeded in a warm atmosphere.

Dr. Lulin GAO and Mr. Aso agreed that they will enhance mutual exchange to promote business and intellectual property developments between China and Japan in the future.
