Dr. Lulin GAO was invited to speak on “Managing the China Challenge” at the IPBC Global 2017

In June 2017, Dr. Lulin GAO, Chairman of Beijing East IP and founding Commissioner of the SIPO, was invited to speak on the “Managing the China Challenge” panel at the IPBC Global 2017 in Ottawa, Canada.

When answering the questions with respect to “Whether China’s judicial environment can ensure that patent disputes for the foreign party could be fairly settled”, as one of the founders of the modern China intellectual property system, Dr. GAO gave a very clear and positive answer, in the meanwhile, he introduced the development and the achievements of China’s intellectual property judicial environment in recent years in detail. Dr. GAO’s presentation was highly acknowledged by attendees from around the world.For senior IP executives, integration has become a pivotal issue as innovation and new technology platforms have brought industries closer when just a few years ago were still very disconnected. Traditional IP management strategies have to be reinvented and new operational models developed.
