After joining in East IP since 2016, Mr. Yin is responsible for trademark prosecution and litigation in China and the oversea trademark matters for multinational companies and startup, such as Simmons, BSH, EagleBurgmann, Epson, Sekisui Chemical, JVC, Lock&Lock, CATL, NucTech, Meitu, On Bright, Qitan Tech etc.

    1.Won court appeals before Beijing IP Court and Beijing High Court representing Lock&Lock, obtaining favorable judgments to invalidate bad faith registrations

    2.Won court appeals before Beijing High Court representing NucTech, where the court rendered favorable judgments overturning first instance judgments and CNIPA decisions and supporting our claims of dissimilarity of marks and goods

    3.Won court appeals before Beijing High Court representing Meitu, helping the client secure mark registration of its house mark "MEITU in Chinese"

    4.Won court appeals before Beijing IP Court and Beijing High Court representing Lonely Planet, obtaining favorable judgments to invalidate bad faith marks as pre-emptive registration of marks already used by others with certain fame

    5.Represented Germany Company EagleBurgmann in winning a trademark administrative penalty case before the Jiangsu Intermediate Court, which upheld the administrative organ's decision to punish the other party's trademark infringement.

    6.Represented Japan Compnay NOK in winning a trademark infringment and anti-unfair competition case Shanghai High Court, in which NOK is recongnzed as a well-known mark and the Court awarded NOK a compensation of RMB 1 million.
