In December, 2012, Beijing High People’s Court rendered a decision favorable to a leading European company (the “Company” hereinafter) represented by Beijing East IP Ltd., ruling that Patent Re-examination Board (PRB) erred in invalidating a patent owned by the Company.

In December, 2012, a Shenzhen Court rendered a decision favorable to a leading multinational company (the “Company” hereinafter) as the defendant represented by Beijing East IP Law Firm, staying a trademark infringement lawsuit initiated by a Chinese individual as the plaintiff.

On November 22, 2012 (Thanksgiving Day), Beijing East IP Ltd. and Beijing East IP Law Firm received three favorable court decisions from Beijing First Intermediate Court (first instance court) in the court appeals.

On November 15, 2012, Mr. Wu YANG, President of the All-China Patent Attorneys Association (ACPAA), Mr. Wei CHENG, President of International Federation of Intellectual Property Attorneys (FICPI)-China, and Madam Jianrong LI, Secretary General of ACPAA, leading delegations of ACPAA and FICPI, visited Beijing East IP Ltd. at the Oriental Plaza, to inspect and assure the normal operation of our company in light of the spirit and theory of implementing IP strategy and reinforcing IP protection stressed in the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.

We have ceased using the website www.eastip.com and email address @eastip.com as of October 27, 2012. And our email address and domain name have changed to @beijingeastip.com and www.beijingeastip.com.

On October 26, 2012, Beijing East IP Ltd. issued notification to all clients, informing that we are now using the new domain name “beijingeastip.com”, thus the new homepage at www.beijingeastip.com and new email address “@beijingeastip.com” for future communications with our clients.

On October 23, 2012, leading delegation of four members, Madam Li Jianrong, Secretary General of the All-China Patent Attorneys Association (ACPAA), visited our office at the Oriental Plaza.
